Product Name: Diethylbenzenediamine
Englishalias: 3,5-Diethyltoluene-2,6-diamine~20%];Diethyltoluenediamine[3,5-Diethyltoluene-2,4-diamine~80%;ETHACURE100-LC;POLYLINKDETDA;BenzeneChemicalbookdiamine,ar,ar-diethyl-ar-methyl-;Diethyltoluylendiamin;ar,ar-diethyl-ar-methyl-benzenediamin;ar,ar-diethyl-ar-methylbenzenediamine
CAS number: 68479-98-1
Molecular formula: C11H18N2
Appearance: Light yellow to amber transparent liquid at room temperature, with a slight aromatic amine odor. Light yellow crystals may precipitate at low temperatures, but can dissolve and restore transparency after heating
Conventional packaging: 200kg/drum
Diethylbenzene diamine is an aromatic diamine compound generated by the alkylation reaction of toluene diamine and ethylene. It is a low viscosity, high activity amine curing agent that combines rapid curing and excellent mechanical property adjustment functions. Its molecular structure contains two amino groups (- NH2) and an ethyl substituent. Amino groups can rapidly crosslink with epoxy resins, isocyanates, and other functional groups. The steric hindrance effect of the ethyl group can balance the curing speed and system compatibility, while the methyl substituent can enhance the toughness and chemical corrosion resistance of the cured product.

1. Adhesive industry: As a fast curing agent for epoxy resin, it is widely used in structural adhesives, automotive adhesives, and electronic component packaging adhesives.
2. Composite materials industry: As a curing agent for composite materials, it is used for the molding and processing of glass fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) and carbon fiber composite materials.
3. Diethylbenzenediamine can be used in polyurethane to improve product strength and hydrolysis resistance, greatly increase product productivity, and make industrialization of large-sized and structurally complex polyurethane products possible.
Diethylbenzene diamine belongs to low toxicity substances, with acute oral toxicity (LD50)>2000mg/kg (rat)
It should be stored in a cool, dry, and well ventilated sealed warehouse with a temperature controlled between 10-30 ℃, avoiding direct sunlight and keeping away from heat and fire sources. The warehouse should be equipped with explosion-proof lighting fixtures and ventilation equipment, and open flame operations are strictly prohibited.
Diethylbenzenediamine for technical applications is solely supplied in packaging of different sizes . It can be packaged in various items: 25 kg drums, 1000 kg IBC drums.
