1.Performance and use
Polyacrylamide, abbreviated as PAM, is usually a polymer with head-to-tail bonding structure of acrylamide monomer, which is a hard glassy solid at room temperature. Due to the different production methods, the product has white powder, translucent beads and flakes. Density 1.302g/cm3(23℃), glass transition temperature 153℃, softening temperature 210℃. Has good thermal stability. Soluble in water, the aqueous solution is clear and transparent, its viscosity with the increase of the molecular weight of the polymer obviously becomes viscous, and with the change of the concentration of the polymer is a logarithmic increase and decrease relationship.
