1.Performance and use

Lithium 12-hydroxystearate is a white powdery industrial product, which can be obtained by the direct reaction of 12-hydroxystearic acid with equimolar lithium hydroxide monohydrate. It can be used to prepare various greases. It is widely used as lubricant, stabiliser, decolourant, thickener.
