What is Styrenated Phenol?

Styrenated Phenol is a mixture of mono-, di-, and tri-styrenated phenols, produced by reacting phenol with styrene. It acts as a non-staining antioxidant and stabilizer, commonly used in the rubber, adhesives, coatings, and lubricant industries. Known for its excellent thermal stability, resistance to oxidation, and compatibility with polymers, Styrenated Phenol helps extend product shelf life and durability under stress or heat.

The product typically appears as a clear to slightly yellow viscous liquid or resin and is soluble in many organic solvents. It offers excellent performance as a non-volatile, low-toxicity stabilizer, and can also serve as an intermediate for the synthesis of other chemical compounds.

Application:

Used as a non-staining antioxidant in rubber and elastomer production
