Glutamic acid tetrasodium diacetate is an amino polycarboxylate chelating agent generated by the condensation reaction of L-glutamic acid and chloroacetic acid under alkaline conditions. Its molecular structure contains four sodium carboxylate groups (- COONa), one amino group (- NH -), and a carbon chain derived from glutamic acid. It is an environmentally friendly chelating agent modified with natural amino acids. Its core advantages lie in excellent biocompatibility (the raw material contains natural glutamic acid structure) and efficient chelation performance: four carboxyl groups can quickly bind to various metal ions such as calcium, magnesium, iron, copper, zinc, etc. through multi dentate coordination, forming water-soluble chelates with high stability constants (up to 10 ¹⁰ for Ca ² ⁺ and 10 ¹⁰ for Fe ³ ⁺), and can maintain stable chelation effects in a wide pH range (3-12).

Tetrasodium glutamate diacetate is a non-toxic substance with an acute oral toxicity (LD50) greater than 5000mg/kg (rats). It is non irritating when in contact with the skin (skin irritation test score ≤ 0.5). Inhaling dust may cause mild respiratory dryness (such as dry throat) in sensitive populations. Food grade and daily chemical products have extremely high safety and can be directly used in food contact and human skin care scenarios; It is recommended to wear N95 dust masks and nitrile protective gloves when operating industrial grade products to avoid inhaling dust and long-term skin contact; If accidentally inhaled, it can be relieved by transferring to a well ventilated area. After skin contact, rinse with clean water without any special irritation risk.
It should be stored in a cool, dry, well ventilated and sealed warehouse, avoiding direct sunlight. The warehouse temperature should be controlled between 5-30 ℃
The relative humidity inside the warehouse should be strictly controlled at<50% to prevent products from absorbing moisture and sticking (although moisture absorption does not affect performance, it will increase the difficulty of dissolution, especially for small packaging products). It is recommended to place calcium chloride or silica gel desiccants in the warehouse (10-15kg per 100 square meters)
The product packaging should be kept sealed and intact. For unused products after opening, the bag mouth should be immediately sealed or the bucket lid should be tightly closed, and sealed with tape to prevent dust leakage and moisture intrusion
