1. For Nickel Electroplating Brightening: Sodium allyl sulfonate (SAS, CAS 2495-39-8) is a widely used brightener and leveling agent in nickel electroplating baths, improving deposit brightness, throwing power and metal ductility for decorative and functional coatings.

2. For Acrylic Fiber Dyeability: As the third monomer in acrylic fiber production, SAS significantly improves fiber dyeing performance, delivering faster dye uptake, stronger color fastness and more vivid shades while enhancing fiber heat resistance and elasticity.
