Dicyclohexylcarbodiimide CAS 538-75-0

Dicyclohexylcarbodiimide (DCC) is also used for the synthetic dehydration of amikacin and amino acids, and is a good low-temperature biochemical dehydrating agent, as well as for the synthesis of acids, anhydrides, aldehydes and ketones. In Japan, it is used as dehydrating agent for glutathione, which accounts for 90% of the total consumption. When the product is used as dehydrating and condensing agent, it can be formed by a short time reaction at room temperature, and the product after the reaction is dicyclohexylurea.
