Applications 

1. Cationic Surfactant For Textile Processing: A quaternary ammonium surfactant that carries a positive charge on the nitrogen, so it bonds to the negatively charged surface of fibres and acts as a dyeing assistant, softener, antistatic agent, emulsifier and conditioner in textile dyeing and finishing lines.

2. Phase Transfer Catalyst For Organic Synthesis: A mainstay of phase transfer catalysis, it shuttles anions between aqueous and organic phases so that reactions between immiscible reactants proceed efficiently.

3. Laundry, Fabric Care And Antistatic Applications: Used in laundry detergents and treatments and in softeners for textiles, where the cationic charge neutralises static build up on synthetic fibres and leaves fabrics with a soft, conditioned hand while helping the rinse water sheet away.

4. Raw Material For Disinfectant And Algaecide Formulations: Supplied as a concentrated aqueous solution with a controlled alkyl chain distribution centred on the C12 and C14 homologues, for formulators building registered disinfectant, sanitiser, algaecide and industrial slime control products.

5. Emulsifier, Dispersant And Leather Processing Aid: Works as an emulsifier and dispersing agent in industrial and cleaning formulations, and in leather processing it assists wetting, softening and dye uptake by carrying the cationic charge onto the negatively charged hide surface.
