 Applications 

1. Hindered Phenolic Primary Antioxidant: Antioxidant 1076 is a sterically hindered phenolic antioxidant that interrupts thermo-oxidative degradation in polymers, shielding plastic and rubber compounds from molecular chain scission during high temperature processing and long term service.

2. Polyolefin Processing And Long Term Stability: Added at 0.05% to 0.5% in polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutene-1 and EVA copolymers for film blowing, pipe extrusion, injection molding and blow molding, where it limits yellowing and melt flow drift caused by repeated heat history.

3. Engineering Plastics And Styrenic Compounds: Provides long term heat aging protection in ABS, PS, HIPS, styrene block copolymers, polycarbonate, acrylics, polyamide, polyacetal, polyurethane and flexible PVC, supporting automotive interior parts, appliance housings and electronic enclosures that must hold color and mechanical strength.

4. Elastomers, Adhesives, Coatings, Waxes And Oils: Recommended for synthetic rubber and elastomers, hot melt and solvent based adhesives, urethane and acrylic coatings, tackifier resins, waxes, lubricating oils, fats and petroleum products, where the low melting point allows easy melt blending and the low volatility keeps the stabilizer inside the finished article.

5. Synergy And Food Contact Clearance: Can be combined with phosphite or thioester secondary antioxidants, phosphonites, HALS light stabilizers and UV absorbers for synergistic performance, and is cleared for adhesives, acrylic polymers and olefin or styrenic food contact articles.
