ZDBC (Zinc dibutyldithiocarbamate) is an ultra-accelerator widely used in natural and synthetic rubber vulcanization. It offers fast curing speed at low temperatures and is particularly useful in latex compounds where minimal discoloration and odor are required. ZDBC is non-staining and non-discoloring, making it ideal for light-colored rubber goods.
It is highly effective in NR, IR, SBR, IIR, CR, and EPDM rubbers, and is often used in combination with other accelerators to achieve balanced vulcanization and improve aging resistance. ZDBC is also used as an antioxidant in greases and plastics.
