Uridine 5′-monophosphate disodium salt is a nucleotide derivative with the chemical formula C₉H₁₁N₂Na₂O₉P. It appears as a white to off-white crystalline powder, odorless. Soluble in water, slightly soluble in dilute acids and alkalis, and practically insoluble in organic solvents such as ethanol and acetone. Commonly used as a flavor enhancer and nutritional supplement in food and beverage applications, particularly in infant formula and dairy products.
