1.Performance and use
Triton X-100 is used as an emulsifier in the pesticide, pharmaceutical and rubber industries, and as an asphalt emulsifier in the construction industry.
Used in gas chromatography as a stationary solution (max. operating temperature 190°C, solvents acetone, chloroform, dichloromethane, methanol) for the separation and analysis of hydrocarbons, oxygenated compounds (alcohols, esters, ketones), basic and neutral nitrogenous compounds, mercaptans.
Triton X-100 is mainly composed of Triton X-100, deionized water, etc. Triton-X 100 is a nonionic surfactant. Used to enhance film porosity in conductive polymers.
