**Titanium (IV) 2-ethylhexoxide is an organic titanium compound with the chemical formula Ti (OCH ₂ CH (C ₂ H ₅) C ₄ H ₉) ₄. It appears as a light yellow to amber liquid at room temperature. As a metal alkoxide, it has high reactivity and is easily hydrolyzed to produce titanium dioxide. It can also be used as a catalyst or precursor, and is widely used in the synthesis of nanomaterials (such as TiO ₂ nanoparticles), esterification reaction catalysts, coating crosslinking agents, and polymer material modification.
