 Applications 

1. Halogen Free Flame Retardant: RDP is an oligomeric aryl phosphate ester that builds flame resistance through phosphorus chemistry instead of bromine or chlorine, so formulators can meet halogen free material specifications while avoiding the corrosive and smoke dense combustion by products linked to halogenated systems.

2. PC/ABS Electronics Housings: The primary recommended substrate is polycarbonate and PC/ABS blend used for television, monitor, notebook, printer, switch and connector housings, where the phosphate ester raises flame resistance and improves melt flow so thin wall enclosures can be moulded cleanly.

3. PPO/HIPS And Other Engineered Resins: Also recommended for polyphenylene ether blends, mPPO/HIPS, ABS and PET resin systems, and suitable for evaluation in other engineering thermoplastics where a liquid aryl phosphate ester is wanted for uniform dispersion through a twin screw compounding line.

4. Formulation Flexibility And Consistent Quality: Keeping triphenyl phosphate at 5% or less and free phenol at 500 ppm or less limits odour, emissions and mould deposit, and the flame retardant can be combined with anti dripping agents and char forming additives to reach UL94 V-0 ratings in thin wall parts.
