 Applications 

1.Monomer For PET Resin And Packaging: Terephthalic acid (CAS 100-21-0) is the key monomer for polyethylene terephthalate, the polyester used to make drink bottles, food packaging and other consumer containers.

2.Polyester Fibre For Textiles: Reacted into polyester it becomes the fibre spun into clothing and textile products, which makes the acid a base raw material for the textile chain.

3.Polyester Film For Packaging And Insulation: Polyester made from the acid is also processed into films for flexible packaging and electrical insulation applications.

4.Unsaturated Polyester Resins: It is used as well as a raw material for unsaturated polyester resins, a separate polyester family from PET used in composites and coating systems.

5.Platform Chemical For Specialty Polymers And Coatings: Beyond the classic polyester outlets the acid serves as a platform chemical for specialty polymers, advanced coatings and engineered materials.
