Sodium lauryl sulfoacetate CAS 1847-58-1

Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate is a mild anionic surfactant derived from lauryl alcohol and sulfoacetic acid. It appears as a white to off-white powder or granule with a slight characteristic odor. Soluble in water and known for excellent foaming properties, high detergency, and very low skin and eye irritation potential. Commonly used in personal care products such as syndet bars, facial cleansers, bath bombs, shampoos, and bubble baths. Also functions as a wetting agent and emulsifier in certain industrial and household cleaning formulations. Stable under normal conditions and compatible with other anionic, nonionic, and amphoteric surfactants.
