Application Scenarios:

Industrial Grade:


1. Boiler and Industrial Circulating Water Scale Inhibitor: SHMP forms stable, soluble chelates with hard water ions such as calcium and magnesium in water, thus preventing calcium and magnesium ions from precipitating and forming scale. It is widely used in circulating cooling water treatment in power plants, locomotives, boilers, and chemical plants.


2. Industrial Water Softener: In industries with extremely high water quality requirements, such as printing and dyeing and papermaking, it is used as a hard water softener to prevent impurities in the water from affecting dyeing and paper quality.


3. Mineral Processing Flotation Agent: In the mining industry, SHMP is a well-known mud and sand dispersant (inhibitor). It causes gangue (useless mud and sand) particles in the slurry to acquire a negative charge on their surface, repelling and dispersing them, thereby preventing mud and sand from encapsulating useful minerals and significantly improving flotation efficiency.


4. Oil Drilling Mud: During drilling, adding SHMP to the mud can control the mud viscosity, prevent mud flocculation, and make drilling operations smoother.


Food Grade: Water Retention, Emulsification, and Discoloration Prevention


1. Meat Products and Seafood (Ham, Sausage, Shrimp): Improves the water-holding capacity of meat (water retention). It reduces moisture loss during processing and cooking, keeping the meat tender, juicy, and bouncy, and increasing yield.


2. Fruits and Canned Vegetables (Discoloration Prevention and Preservation): SHMP chelates trace metal ions in fruits and vegetables, preventing pigments from oxidizing and turning brown (black), thus maintaining the original vibrant color of canned fruits and vegetables, while also stabilizing natural vitamin C.


3. Dairy Products and Beverages (Cheese, Soy Milk): Acts as an emulsifier and stabilizer. Added to soy milk and tea beverages, it prevents protein or fat separation and precipitation; in cheese, it is used as an emulsifying salt to make the texture more uniform.


4. Beer and Alcohol Clarification: Chelates metal ions that cause turbidity in alcoholic beverages, clarifying and stabilizing the quality.

1. Whitening and anti-tartar toothpaste: Many high-end toothpastes that claim to remove stains and prevent tartar contain sodium hexametaphosphate. It can adsorb onto the tooth surface, chelate calcium ions in saliva, and prevent them from calcifying and forming tartar; at the same time, it can disperse extrinsic pigments on the tooth surface (such as tea stains and tobacco stains), thus achieving a whitening effect.


2. Detergent and soap additives: Improve the detergency of detergents in hard water and prevent soap from forming "soap scum" in hard water.
