Application:



1. Used as a primary plasticizer in a vast range of flexible PVC applications, including wire and cable insulation, flooring, wall coverings, and automotive parts.

2. Employed in the production of synthetic leather and coated fabrics.

3. Applied in the formulation of plastisols for slush molding, dip coating, and rotational casting.

4. Used in the manufacture of medical devices such as blood bags and intravenous tubing (Note: This use is now highly restricted and heavily regulated in most regions).

5. Historically used in consumer products like toys and food packaging (Note: These uses are now banned or severely restricted in many countries due to health concerns).


Safety profile:


Avoid inhalation of mists and prolonged skin contact. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) including gloves and safety glasses. Ensure excellent ventilation.
