What is Pentaerythritol stearate？

Pentaerythritol stearate is a polyol ester compound formed by the esterification reaction of pentaerythritol and stearic acid. It belongs to non-ionic surfactants and polymer material additives. Its molecular structure contains multiple long-chain alkyl and hydroxyl groups, exhibiting excellent lubricity, compatibility, and stability, and demonstrating outstanding performance in multiple fields.

1. Plastic industry: As an internal and external lubricant for resins such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polypropylene (PP), and polyethylene (PE), it can effectively improve the flowability of resin melts, reduce processing equipment wear, and enhance the surface smoothness of products.

2. 2. Coatings and Ink Industry: Used as plasticizers and leveling agents for film-forming substances such as nitrocellulose and ethylcellulose, it can improve the adhesion, glossiness, and water resistance of coatings/inks, reduce film cracking and wrinkling.
