P-Phenylenediamine CAS 106-50-3 Urse D

P-phenylenediamine (CAS 106-50-3, molecular formula C ₆ H ₈ N ₂) is an important organic intermediate mainly used as a raw material for azo dyes, sulfide dyes, fur dyes, and rubber anti-aging agents. It is also a key component in the production of hair dyes and aramid (para aramid). This substance is a white to light red crystal that changes color easily when exposed to light. It is a highly toxic chemical and has strong allergenicity. Contact with the skin may cause dermatitis or asthma.
