Application Scenarios:

Industrial Grade

1. Smelting Metallic Magnesium: A core raw material for the electrolytic production of metallic magnesium and magnesium alloys from molten magnesium chloride.

2. Building Materials: Mixed with magnesium oxide (magnesia), it is used to manufacture high-grade magnesium building materials, such as glass magnesium fireproof boards, lightweight partition boards, marble imitations, and prefabricated houses.

3. Road Chemicals: Used for de-icing and snow melting on roads in winter (snow-melting agent). It melts snow quickly and has relatively low corrosivity to soil and plants.

Feed Grade

1. Ruminant Feed Additive: Magnesium is an essential mineral element for animals. It is often used as a magnesium supplement in feed to prevent and treat "grass tetany" caused by magnesium deficiency in livestock such as cattle and sheep.

2. Aquaculture: Used to regulate the mineral balance of water quality and promote molting and growth in aquatic animals such as shrimp and crabs.

Food Grade

1. Soy Product Coagulant: As a coagulant, it rapidly coagulates the protein in soy milk, resulting in tofu with a tender texture and rich soy flavor. 

2. Food industry flavoring/additives: Used as a mineral fortifier (to supplement magnesium) in bottled mineral water or sports drinks. Used as a nutrient aid for yeast fermentation in fermented foods such as sake and beer.
