What is Linalool？

Cinnamol, also known as linalool or agarwood, is a terpenoid alcohol and one of the famous spice compounds. A mixture of two isomers (alpha linalool and beta linalool). Extracted from camphor oil of camphor trees or synthesized from α - pinene or β - pinene in turpentine oil. Colorless oily liquid with a sweet, tender, and fresh floral aroma resembling that of lily of the valley. Easy to dissolve in organic solvents such as ethanol, ethylene glycol, and ether, insoluble in water and glycerol. Easy to undergo isomerization, but relatively stable in alkali

Linalool belongs to low toxicity substances, with acute oral toxicity (LD50)>5000mg/kg (rats), no obvious irritation upon skin contact (food grade, daily chemical products), and slight respiratory discomfort (such as dry throat) may be caused by inhaling high concentrations of steam (>800ppm) in a small number of sensitive individuals.

Storage requirements:

It needs to be stored in a cool, dark, and well ventilated warehouse with a temperature controlled between 5-25 ℃, avoiding direct sunlight (brown packaging must be used or the warehouse must be equipped with shading boards to prevent oxidation and deterioration caused by light exposure)
