1.Performance and use
Colourless transparent and easy flowing liquid. Soluble in common organic solvents, miscible with water. Miscible with water.GMA single system is white, watery, viscous, thinner than water, and more permeable than any resin or monomer. Particularly useful for working on bone, cartilage and impenetrable plant tissues.
Mainly used for modification of resins and paints. Co-polymerisation with other acrylic monomers can produce acrylic resins with active hydroxyl groups in the side chain, esterification and cross-linking reactions can be carried out, insoluble resins can be synthesised and adhesion can be improved, and it can be used as a fibre treatment agent.
