1.Performance and use
White, off-white or light peach color monoclinic crystal or amorphous powder. Density 2.74g/cm3. soluble in hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, insoluble in cold water and nitric acid.
Used as a nutritional supplement (iron fortifier) in the food industry, especially for bread. Also used as feed additive. As a catalyst, nano-sized iron phosphate can be used as a catalyst, which is effective in dehydrogenation and oxidation, and can realize selective oxidation catalyst, which shows its application potential in the field of organic synthesis. As an additive, iron phosphate can be used as a cement additive and iron fortifier.
