1.Performance and use
The characteristics of lithium stearate include being slightly soluble in water but soluble in hot ethanol. It is mainly used as a heat stabiliser for plastics, a temperature-resistant agent for lubricating grease and as a coating for paper, etc.
Lithium stearate can be used as high-temperature lubricant and stabiliser, used as high-temperature lubricant, stabiliser in plastics industry, used as gelling agent, metal powder lubricant.
