1.Performance and use
Dioctyl terephthalate (DOTP) is a main plasticizer with excellent performance for polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastics. It has the advantages of heat resistance, cold resistance, difficult to volatilize, anti-extraction, softness and good electrical insulation properties compared with the currently used diisooctyl phthalate (DOP), and shows excellent durability, soap and water resistance, and low-temperature softness in Chemicalbook products. Because of its low volatility, the use of DOTP can fully meet the wire and cable temperature rating requirements, can be widely used in 70 ℃ cable material (International Electrotechnical Commission IEC standards) and other kinds of PVC soft products.
