What is Dibutyl sebacate?

Dibutyl Sebacate (DBS) is a dibasic acid ester plasticizer produced by the esterification of sebacic acid with n-butanol. It is characterized by its excellent low-temperature flexibility, low volatility, and good plasticizing efficiency. DBS exhibits strong solvating power and fast gelation with PVC resins.
