What is Dibasic ester？

Dibasic esters primarily serve as solvents and co-solvents in solvent-based coatings. They can be applied in various baked coatings, such as interior and exterior coatings for cans, coil coatings, industrial maintenance coatings, automotive paints, and automotive refinish paints. Additionally, dibasic esters are used as component solvents in paint strippers, solvents for offset and gravure printing inks, and ink removers.

Application:

1.As a PVC cold-resistant auxiliary plasticizer, it is widely used in PVC transparent soft sheets, cable compounds, artificial leather, and calendering films.

2.As a lubricant for metal and fabric; it is widely used as an internal lubricant in PVC with a dosage of 1-3%.

3.As a plasticizer for nitrocellulose and ethyl cellulose, it can improve the gloss, water resistance, and scratch resistance of the coating when used in paints.

4.This product can be used as a lubricant for aluminum foil rolling and metal wire drawing.

5.As a cosmetic additive, it is used as an emollient for cream and lipstick products.

6.This product is a lubricant and release agent for various resin processing, widely used in extrusion, injection molding, and calendering products of transparent soft and hard polyvinyl chloride and polystyrene products.
