What is Cyclohexanol？

Cyclohexanol is also valued as a high-boiling point solvent in various applications due to its ability to dissolve many resins, oils, waxes, and cellulose derivatives.

Application:

1.Nylon Production:

The most significant application is as a primary raw material for the synthesis of adipic acid and caprolactam, which are monomers for Nylon 6 and Nylon 6,6.

2.Solvent:

Acts as an excellent solvent for oils, resins, gums, ethyl cellulose, and dyes. It is used in paint and varnish removers, lacquers, and spot removers.

3.Plasticizer:

Serves as a starting material for the production of certain plasticizers, such as dicyclohexyl phthalate.

4.Soap and Detergent Industry:

Used in the manufacture of soap and detergents as a homogenizer to improve product consistency.

5.Textile Industry:
