1. For Phenolic And Synthetic Resins: Cresol (mixed cresol, CAS 1319-77-3) is a key raw material for cresol-formaldehyde and phenolic resin systems, supporting the production of molding compounds, laminates and insulating varnishes used across electrical and industrial applications.


2. For Chemical Intermediates And Antioxidants: Cresol isomers serve as building blocks for antioxidants, UV absorbers, dyes and other fine chemical intermediates, with p-cresol supporting production of phenolic antioxidants for rubber and plastics.


3. For Disinfectants And Preservatives: Cresol is used in disinfectant and preservative formulations, including cresylic soap solutions and wood preservatives, providing reliable disinfection performance for industrial and institutional use.


4. For Solvents And Industrial Processing: As an effective organic solvent, cresol is used in paints, inks and degreasing operations, and as a flotation agent in mineral processing, giving formulators a versatile phenolic solvent.
