Akutanamide is a higher fatty acid amide and one of the important derivatives of erucic acid, refined from vegetable oil. It is a waxy odorless solid that is insoluble in water and has certain solubility in organic fluxes such as ketones, esters, alcohols, ethers, and benzenes. Due to the presence of long unsaturated C22 chains and polar amine groups in its molecular structure, it has excellent surface polarity, high melting point, and good thermal stability, which can replace other similar additives and be widely used in industries such as plastics, rubber, printing, and machinery

1. Performance and use

1. Can be used as a lubricant and opening agent for films such as PP, CPP, BOPP, LDPE, LLDPE, EVA, PVC, PVDF, PVDC, PU, as well as multi-layer co extruded films, high transparency agricultural films, ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, and metallocene polyethylene. It can significantly reduce the dynamic and static friction coefficients of the product (film or sheet) surface, improve processability and packaging efficiency;

2. Plays a smooth, anti stick, and anti fouling role in ink, delaying the settling of pigments and fillers, assisting in redispersion, increasing the wear resistance, scratch resistance, and surface smoothness of printed materials, especially improving their smoothness and anti adhesion during color printing;


3. Adding this product to rubber (SBE, SBP, SBR, PP) can improve the gloss, anti fouling, and elongation of rubber products, enhance vulcanization promotion and wear resistance, and especially have the effect of preventing sun cracking;


4. It can be used as a release agent and surface lubricant and brightener for thermoplastic elastomers (TPE, TEO, TPU) and fluororubber, lubricants and release agents for engineering plastics, lubricants for LDPE calendered synthetic leather, lubricants for fiber materials, non-woven fabrics, and entertainment chips, as well as lubricants and dispersants for high wear resistant materials such as PA (gears, shaft seals, sliding plates, etc.) and ABS graphite fiber modified materials. It can be used as an effective anti adhesion hot melt adhesive.
