Antioxidant 264 is an excellent general-purpose phenolic antioxidant, non-toxic, non-flammable, non-corrosive, good storage stability, can inhibit or delay the oxidative degradation of plastics or rubber to extend the service life. Appearance is white or light yellow crystalline powder, soluble in benzene, toluene, methanol, ethanol, acetone, 

carbon tetrachloride, acetic acid, grease, ethyl ester and gasoline and other solvents, insoluble in water and dilute caustic soda solution. It is an excellent antioxidant additive for all kinds of petroleum products, widely used in all kinds of lubricating oils, gasoline, paraffin and all kinds of raw material oils to prevent the rise of acid value or viscosity of lubricating oils and fuel oils. In food grade plastics and packaged food as food antioxidant, stabiliser can delay the rancidity of food.
