Antioxidant TH-CPL CAS 68610-51-5

Antioxidant TH-CPL is a copolymer synthesized from dicyclopentadiene and p-cresol monomers. It typically appears as a light yellow to brownish solid or viscous resin, with a mild phenolic odor. Soluble in organic solvents such as toluene, xylene, acetone, and chloroform, but insoluble in water. Commonly used as a tackifying resin in adhesive and sealant formulations, particularly in rubber-based and hot-melt adhesive systems. Also functions as a modifier in coating compositions, a processing aid in polymer compounding, and as a component in printing ink formulations. Stable under normal storage conditions and should be kept away from strong oxidizing agents and excessive heat.
