Ammonium sulfamate is a white loose crystal with a solubility of 185.6 in water under standard conditions; melting point 131°C, boiling point 160°C (decomposition), can absorb moisture in the air; insoluble in methanol and ethanol. It is hygroscopic. It decomposes under heat and releases a large amount of inert gas. It is widely used in pesticides, printing and dyeing, tobacco, building materials, textiles and other industries.
