Sodium phosphite-5-hydrate (Disodium hydrogen phosphite pentahydrate, Na₂HPO₃ ⋅ 5H₂O) is an odorless, white or colorless crystalline solid that is highly soluble in water. It serves as a mild reducing agent and a crucial source of phosphite ions in industrial, agricultural, and research applications.

Industrial Grade:
1. Electroless Nickel Plating: In electroless nickel plating of metal parts in the electronics, automotive, and aerospace industries, disodium hydrogen phosphite acts as a reducing agent or complexing agent/stabilizer. It precisely controls the deposition rate of nickel ions, resulting in a uniform coating thickness, high hardness, and corrosion resistance.
2. Polymer Material Stabilizer and Antioxidant: In the processing of plastics (such as polyvinyl chloride, polycarbonate, PC), synthetic rubber, and fibers, it acts as a heat stabilizer. Due to its excellent antioxidant properties, it prevents polymer materials from yellowing, degrading, and aging under high-temperature processing or long-term outdoor exposure.
3. Water Treatment and Scale and Corrosion Inhibitor: In industrial circulating cooling water and boiler water treatment, it acts as a reducing agent and chelating agent. It can form stable complexes with metal ions such as calcium, magnesium, and iron in water, preventing scale formation in boilers and pipes, while simultaneously forming a protective film on the metal surface, thus inhibiting corrosion and rust.
Food Grade:
1. Brewing and Fermentation Industry (Nutrients/pH Buffer): In industrial food fermentation (such as the production of certain yeasts, enzymes, or alcohol), it serves as a phosphorus source and buffer for microorganisms. It stabilizes the pH of the fermentation broth, promotes early microbial growth and metabolism, and is removed during final product extraction.
2. Food Grade Boiler Water and Piping Treatment: In food processing plants (such as dairy plants, canneries, and beverage factories), it is used in raw steam boiler water for heating food. It acts as a corrosion inhibitor and scale inhibitor, ensuring that steam pipes do not rust. Because this steam may come into direct contact with food or containers, food-grade raw materials with strictly controlled heavy metal content must be used.
Annual production capacity: 2000 tons/year. Packaging: 25kg woven plastic bag, lined with two layers of plastic bags; net weight 25kg.
