Industrial Grade: Primarily utilizing its oxidation catalytic properties and physicochemical characteristics as a manganese precursor, it is widely used in chemical, materials, and light industries:
1. Chemical Synthesis Catalyst - PET Polyester Resin Production: It is one of the core catalysts for the high-temperature oxidation of p-xylene (PX) to produce terephthalic acid (PTA). PTA is a major raw material for the production of plastic bottles and polyester fibers (polyester).
2. Lithium-ion Battery Cathode Material Precursor - In the new energy field, it is commonly used as a starting material for solid-state or sol-gel methods to synthesize cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries, such as lithium manganese iron phosphate (LMFP), lithium nickel cobalt manganese oxide (NCM ternary materials), and lithium spinel manganese oxide (LMO).
3. Printing, Dyeing, and Coating Industry: Dyeing Mordant: Used as a mordant in the textile printing and dyeing industry, it helps dyes bind firmly to fibers (such as cotton and wool), improving dyeing uniformity and wash fastness.
Paint and Varnish Drying Agent:Used as a "drying agent" in the coatings industry, it accelerates the oxidative polymerization of unsaturated oils, thus shortening the drying time of paints and varnishes.
Feed Grade: Primarily used as a mineral trace element additive to supplement manganese in animals.
1. Promotes bone and cartilage development, effectively preventing skeletal deformities in poultry and leg diseases in livestock such as pigs and cattle.
2. Maintains normal reproductive function and improves conception rates in female animals; adding it to laying hen and breeder feed can significantly improve eggshell quality (reducing breakage rate) and hatchability of hatching eggs.
3. Manganese is a component or activator of many important enzymes in the body, participating in the metabolism of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates. It enhances animal immunity and stress resistance, promotes the growth and development of young livestock and poultry, and improves feed conversion rate.
