 Applications 

1. For Food Processing And Meat Products: Tetrasodium pyrophosphate (TSPP, CAS 7722-88-5) is a food-grade additive used as a moisture retention agent, emulsifier and texture improver in meat, poultry, seafood and processed food products, helping lock in water and stabilize product quality.


2. For Detergents And Cleaning: TSPP acts as a builder and water softener in detergents and cleaning products, sequestering calcium and magnesium ions to boost cleaning power in hard water and supporting low-phosphorus formulations.


3. For Water Treatment And Scale Control: In industrial water systems, tetrasodium pyrophosphate works as a sequestering agent that binds calcium and magnesium ions, preventing scale formation in boilers, cooling circuits and process water.


4. For Electroplating And Surface Treatment: TSPP is used in the preparation of electroplating solutions as a complexing agent, and serves in metal surface treatment and textile processing as a dispersing and buffering aid.


5. For Ceramics And Industrial Formulations: As a dispersing and buffering agent, TSPP is applied in ceramic glazes, textile bleaching and other industrial formulations, giving manufacturers a versatile sodium phosphate salt for diverse processes.
