 Applications 

1. For High-Temperature Plasticizers: Trimellitic anhydride (TMA, CAS 552-30-7) is the key raw material for trimellitate plasticizers such as TOTM, which deliver excellent heat resistance and long service life to flexible PVC used in automotive wire, cable and interior applications.


2. For Powder Coating Resins: TMA is used to synthesize polyester resins for powder coatings, improving hardness, gloss and weather resistance of coated surfaces for industrial and architectural applications.


3. For High-Performance Insulating Materials: TMA-based polyamide-imide and polyester resins provide outstanding thermal stability and electrical insulation, supporting wire enamels, insulating varnish and heat-resistant laminates in the electrical industry.


4. For Epoxy Curing And Alkyd Resins: As an epoxy curing agent component and a modifier for alkyd and waterborne resins, TMA shortens curing time and improves chemical resistance, heat stability and film performance in coating systems.
