1.Performance and use
Also known as oleic acid soap. White to slightly yellowish powder or light tawny yellow coarse powder. Has a special taste and odour. Melting point 232~235℃. Foams and dissolves in water and is alkaline. Soluble in ethanol is neutral. Insoluble in benzene. The main ingredient of soap made from olive oil, etc. It is also the main ingredient of tallow soap. Can also be produced by the reaction of sodium hydroxide and oleic acid. Used as food coating agent, such as fruits, vegetables surface coating, can be used in conjunction with ethylene oxide, high boron fatty alcohol.
