1. Emollient For Skin Care Emulsions: A light ester for the oil phase of creams, lotions and body care, it is valued for emollient and lubricant properties with a non tacky after feel, and it carries oil soluble ingredients evenly through the formulation.

2. Binder And Emollient In Colour Cosmetics: In make up it works as a binder that holds powder products together and as a lubricant that makes the skin feel softer and smoother, so it fits foundations, pressed powders and other decorative products.

3. Oil Component And Solvent For Actives: It serves as the oil component of bath oils and as a solvent and carrier for oil soluble active ingredients and aromas, dissolving them cleanly into the oil phase of a formulation.

4. Wetting And Anti Static Function: Beyond emolliency it acts as a wetting agent and an anti static agent, an added reason to use it in personal care systems where wetting and static control matter alongside skin feel.
