Allyl heptanoate is an aliphatic ester compound produced by the esterification of heptanic acid and allyl alcohol. Allyl heptanoate is a low toxicity substance with an acute oral toxicity (LD50) greater than 2000mg/kg (in rats). It may cause mild degreasing sensation in sensitive individuals upon skin contact , and inhalation of high concentrations of vapor (>600ppm) may cause respiratory irritation (such as coughing and dry throat). Food grade and daily chemical grade products are safe and non irritating within the prescribed dosage range; It is recommended to wear nitrile protective gloves and chemical goggles during operation to avoid direct skin contact and inhalation of high concentration vapors; If accidentally entering the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, and seek medical attention promptly if symptoms are severe; Essence products should be kept away from children.
