 Applications 

1.External Lubricant And Anti Blocking Additive: Pentaerythrityl tetrastearate (CAS 115-83-3) is an external lubricant for the manufacture and processing of thermoplastics, and it also imparts anti blocking properties and surface gloss.

2.Mould Release In Injection Moulding: It provides good release properties and is used as a mould release auxiliary in the injection moulding of polyamides, polycarbonates and thermoplastic polyurethane.

3.High Temperature Stability: The ester offers high temperature stability with minimum volatility, which suits it to thermoplastics that are processed at elevated temperatures.

4.Cosmetic Emollient And Viscosity Control: In cosmetics it functions as a skin conditioning emollient and as a viscosity controlling agent in creams, lotions and other topical products.

5.Industrial Lubricant And Thickening Agent: The ester is also used as a lubricant and as a thickening agent in industrial formulations.
