 Applications 

1. Polyol For Alkyd And Saturated Polyester Resins: Its largest outlet is paint resin, where three hydroxyl groups branch alkyd and saturated polyester chains for industrial paints, coil coatings and powder coatings, lifting film hardness, gloss, durability and high temperature stability.

2. Crosslinker And Chain Extender For Polyurethane: It serves urethane resin production as a trifunctional crosslinker and chain extender in PU coatings, elastomers, adhesives, sealants and foams, and ethoxylated or propoxylated grades act as polyol initiators for flexible and rigid foam systems.

3. Feedstock For Radiation Cure And Allyl Ether Chemistry: Its acrylic esters feed radiation curing, and its allyl ethers go into high gloss coatings and ion exchange resins, so it is a starting point for UV and EB curable monomers and for specialty resin intermediates.

4. Building Block For Synthetic Lubricant Esters: Esterified with fatty acids it forms the neopentyl polyol ester base stocks used in high temperature, refrigeration and industrial lubricants, where hindered polyol structure is valued for stability.

5. Auxiliary Uses Across PVC, Textiles And Pigments: It is a component of PVC heat stabilisers, it appears in textile finishes and as a crosslinking agent for spandex fibres, and it serves as a dispersing aid and in rosin ester production.
