 Applications 

1. High Efficiency Chelating Agent And Water Softener: Forms stable complexes with polyvalent metal ions such as calcium, magnesium, iron, manganese and copper, with a chelation value of 220 mg CaCO3 per gram or more, preventing hard water scale and blocking the metal catalysed oxidation that discolours and degrades formulations.

2. Boiler, Heat Exchanger And Cooling Water Treatment: Used for chemical cleaning and scale control in boilers, heat exchangers and cooling circuits, where it holds calcium and magnesium deposits in solution so that heat transfer surfaces stay free of scale and the equipment keeps its design efficiency.

3. Detergents, Soaps And Cleaning Products: Added to liquid detergents, soaps, shampoos and industrial cleaners as an anti hard water agent and clarifying agent, improving detergency and formulation stability while preventing the discolouration and rancidity that trace metals would otherwise cause.

4. Textile Dyeing And Papermaking: Removes trace metal impurities from fabric before dyeing so that shades come out brighter and more uniform, and acts as a bleaching stabiliser in papermaking by deactivating the metal ions that would otherwise decompose the peroxide bleach.

5. Metal Treatment, Electroplating And Analytical Chemistry: Applied in metal surface treatment and industrial cleaning solutions, added to electroplating baths as a complexing agent, and used as the complexometric titrant in analytical chemistry for determining water hardness and metal content.
