Applications
1. For Coatings Paints And Lacquers: Ethylene glycol diacetate (EGDA, CAS 111-55-7) is a high-boiling, slow-evaporating ester solvent that delivers excellent flow-out and leveling in baking lacquers, enamels and industrial coatings, and can partially replace cyclohexanone, isophorone and DBE in resin systems.
2. For Printing Inks And Adhesives: With strong solvency for nitrocellulose and synthetic resins, EGDA works well in screen inks, PCB and outdoor inkjet inks, and adhesive formulations, helping manufacturers tune drying speed and film performance with a mild, low-odor solvent.
3. For Plasticizer And Cellulose Applications: As a glycol diacetate ester, EGDA is used as a plasticizer in cellulose acetate products, including filter tow applications, offering a cost-effective alternative in formulations that traditionally rely on triacetin-type plasticizers.
4. For Foundry And Industrial Curing: In foundry and construction chemical applications, EGDA serves as a curing agent component for casting resin and sodium silicate systems, and supports leather gloss and floor polish formulations as a film-forming solvent.
5. For Cleaning And General Industrial Use: A colorless, low-odor liquid with balanced evaporation, EGDA works as a solvent in industrial cleaning and degreasing formulations and dissolves a wide range of resins and oils, giving formulators a versatile high-boiling option.
Quality Assurance
Every batch of chemicals leaves our factory with complete laboratory documentation — not a promise, but verifiable test data. From incoming raw material inspection to finished-goods release, each batch is tested against published specifications, and a Certificate of Analysis (COA) accompanies every single shipment. What you order is exactly what we test — and what we ship.
Tested by our in-house ISO 9001:2015 laboratory. Verified independently by third-party labs on request (SGS / BV / Intertek). Traceable from raw material to your warehouse.
