1.Epoxy Curing Agent And Hardener: Diethylenetriamine (CAS 111-40-0) is an aliphatic ethylene amine with two primary and one secondary amine groups, used as a curing agent for epoxy resins and as a hardener component in epoxy coatings and adhesives.

2.Chelating Agent Intermediate: It is used to build chelating agents for water treatment and industrial cleaning, supplying the amine backbone that binds metal ions in those formulations.

3.Paper Wet Strength Resins: The amine is a key raw material for wet strength resins used in papermaking, where the resin keeps the sheet strong while wet.

4.Asphalt Additives And Anti Stripping Agents: It is used to produce asphalt additives, anti stripping agents and emulsifiers, giving formulators a reactive amine base for bitumen and asphalt emulsion systems.

5.Oilfield Chemicals And Corrosion Inhibition: Applications also cover oil field chemicals, corrosion inhibitors, lubricant oil additives and gas purification, where acidic gases are scrubbed from process streams.
