 Applications 

1. Intermediate For Surfactants And Detergents: It is the starting point for lauric based surfactants, feeding alkanolamides, emulsifiers, wetting agents, stabilisers and fatty alcohol or fatty acid production, and those derivatives carry cleaning power and emulsifying action in laundry, dish and industrial cleaners.

2. Emollient And Skin Conditioning Agent: A light ester that spreads easily and leaves a smooth feel, it conditions skin and perfumes the formulation at the same time, which is why it appears in lotions, skin creams, sun care, shampoos and hair oils.

3. Biodegradable Lubricant And Metalworking Base Fluid: Its lubricity and thermal stability suit specialty lubricants, greases and metalworking fluids, and it also serves as the lubricant in textile spin finishes, giving formulators a plant derived ester base where mineral oil is being replaced.

4. Flavour And Fragrance Ingredient: Carrying FEMA number 2715 and a waxy, creamy coconut like odour with fatty floral nuances, it is used as a flavour ingredient in foods and as a fragrance ingredient in perfumes.
