 Applications 

1. Esterification And Dehydration Catalyst: A strong, non-oxidizing organic acid that dissolves in water and in polar organic solvents, used to drive esterification and transesterification in plasticizer production for DEP, DOP and DBP, as well as acetal and ketal formation, dehydration and rearrangement steps.

2. Curing Catalyst For Coatings, Resins And Adhesives: Acts as the acid curing agent for amino, phenolic, resole, acrylic and epoxy resin systems, speeding crosslinking in furniture lacquers, can and coil coatings, industrial finishes and resin based adhesives.

3. Foundry Furan Resin Hardener: Used as the hardening agent for furan resin binder systems in sand casting, curing self setting no bake moulds and cores on the foundry floor across ferrous and non ferrous casting work.

4. Adhesives, Electroplating And Metal Treatment: Serves as a coupling and wetting agent and as a resin curing catalyst in adhesive formulations, as an additive that reduces deposit stress in electroplating baths, and as an acid component in industrial descaling and metal cleaning compounds.
